The San Bernardino National Forest’s management plan for four rivers in the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountains has been completed and is now in effect. Congress designated the rivers for preservation under the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. The Comprehensive River Management Plan (CRMP), including supporting and other planning process documents, are available online at www.fs.usda.gov/project/?project=34053. The CRMP is within Appendix A of the Final Environmental Assessment at www.fs.usda.gov/nfs/11558/www/nepa/73328_FSPLT3_6400052.pdf.

The plan does not propose any new actions, such as trails or recreation amenities, but will guide future management and proposed actions on 9,685 acres of river and adjacent land on the San Bernardino National Forest. Those acres are along the following rivers:

• North Fork of the San Jacinto River (10.2 miles)

• Fuller Mill Creek (3.5 miles)

• Palm Canyon Creek (8.1 miles)

• Bautista Creek (9.8 miles)
