Idyllwild Garden Club

As of Jan. 18, the Idyllwild Community Garden and Education Center has become a project under the Idyllwild Garden Club. This new partnership will expand current collaborations that already include compost bin sales, alpaca gold nugget sales, educational classes, speaking engagements and partnering with Idyllwild School of the Arts “Art in Society” class to introduce students to the many facets of the community.

Young Idyllwild Inc. and specifically Kathy Wilson, have been the center’s nonprofit sponsor for the past five-plus years. “Without Kathy’s leadership, vision and encouragement, the Community Garden would never have turned a barren lot into the thriving bountiful garden that it is today. We wish Young Idyllwild the best as they continue their efforts to improve the lives of our community members, both young and old,” said Robert Greenamyer.

“We look forward to increasing the community’s awareness of the joys (and challenges) of gardening in this beautiful unique environment.”
