Idyllwild Arts settled lawsuit

In January 2022, the Town Crier reported that Idyllwild Arts Foundation (IAF) had been sued by a former student alleging sexual harassment by defendant Keith Lewis, a former instructor at Idyllwild Arts Academy.
In December, IAF put this lawsuit behind it by settling the matter with the plaintiff by means of Alternative Dispute Resolution. The notice of settlement was filed in December 2022, and a Request for Dismissal was filed with the court in March of this year.
The local review board of the Idyllwild Historic Preservation District met with a full board and Riverside County staff member Keith Herron to review issues or applications within the district.
