The Idyllwild Rotary Charitable Fund supported for Mountain Communities Mutual Aid (MCMA)with a $2,000 grant for their FoodShare program. MCMA representatives Liv Kellgren and Karin Greenwood gratefully accepted the grant on behalf of their organization. The funding will bolster their efforts to vitally assist individuals and families facing financial hardships in Idyllwild and nearby communities in the San Jacinto Mountains.
The FoodShare program, an MCMA cornerstone, offers critical support to vulnerable populations, including families and elderly neighbors struggling to make ends meet. This grant will enable MCMA to provide essential food and goods to nearly 800 residents for a month through their FoodShare program.
MCMA’s dedication to serving those in need aligns perfectly with Idyllwild Rotary’s mission to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Idyllwild Rotary Charitable Fund remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote the health and well-being of the local community. Through strategic partnerships and collaborative efforts, Idyllwild Rotary seeks to address pressing needs and create lasting positive change for residents of Idyllwild and the surrounding areas.
