Idyllwild Fire Chief Patrick Reitz alerted the Town Crier that SCE has planned to shut power down to the Hill for an indefinite period because of the numerous downed trees.
Trees were down throughout the town and Hill. Power out late Wednesday night in a part of Idyllwild, then all of Hill (about 2,400 customers) was without power Thursday morning, Dec. 7.
