In honor of Black History Month, Idyllwild Arts Academy will again present its annual Black History Concert led by Dr. Marshall Hawkins, reflecting on his 39-year legacy with our institution. The evening will feature current students, alumni, and special guest SteveÊProffitt, a formerÊreporter, NPR producer and Louisiana native who will moderate a discussion of Dr. HawkinsÕ life at Idyllwild Arts, supported by music. The performance will featureÊoriginal music to honor Idyllwild Arts founders Max and Bee Krone.Ê
