    The Hemet Unified School District directors appointed Barry Kayrell as its next District superintendent. The vote was unanimous 7-0. Kayrell is currently the superintendent of Beaumont Unified School District, but will start at Hemet on Oct. 1. His starting salary will be $205,000 annually.
