Leroy Davis passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Rexburg, Idaho. He was born October 26, 1930 in Eden to a large family.

He loved the mountains, where he mined for many years in a places like Triumph, Silver Star Queen, and the Hoo Doo in Custer County, among a few. He owned and operated Leroy’s Service Corner in Hailey for many years. He loved to hunt and fish and was always willing to help someone in need.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jacki Davis; son Rick Davis; daughter Launna Gunderson (Andy); daughter Sandra McNally (Kevin); son Derren Jacobs (Tammy); grandchildren Jake (Courtney), Johnny, Jessie (Sandra), Triston, Morgan (Derren), Jay (Chrys), Scott, Aundrea (Kevin) (Rick), Amelia (Karl), Launna, great-grandchildren Brayden, K.C., Jessie and Carrie; and four brothers and one sister.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.

Services will be announced this summer.
