Maggie Morphett
Several services and events to honor and to celebrate Maggie Morphett’s beautiful life have been planned.

A bagpipe concert and dinner will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 3. Traditional Scottish food and bangers for those that do not have a taste for haggis, neeps and tatties, will be available.

On Wednesday, July 4, the annual parade will include a special tribute to Maggie at the Idyllwild Realty office (the profession that she loved).

The week will close with a celebration at the Rustic Theatre at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7. Bagpipes and a Native American flautist will honor her.

Many have asked about flowers or donations. After much thought, Allan Morphett, her husband, has decided, that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Idyllwild Rotary Club, P.O. Box 152, Idyllwild, CA 92549-0152, with a comment on the memo line: For Maggie Morphett Memorial Fund.
