Caltrans and its contractor, PTM General Engineering Services, Inc. of Riverside, Calif. will begin work to install a traffic signal and lighting at the intersection of State Route 74 and Gilbert Street in Hemet this week.

The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday, March 3 through Friday, March 7 and will require closure of at least one lane at all times; please watch for posted directional signs and follow the directions of flaggers.

The project is expected to be completed in June 2014 (weather permitting).
