Obituary
Chris Hadley
1944-2014

hadleyChris Hadley, 69, of Idyllwild entered into eternal rest Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, following his battle with cancer.

Born Oct. 12, 1944, in Phoenix, Arizona, Chris was the beloved son of John and Alma Hadley.

He proudly served his country as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam.

Chris would go on to spend more than 40 years in the flooring materials industry as a general manager.

Along with his beloved wife of 46 years, Ginger, they were devoted to their family, church and community. Chris especially cherished his five grandchildren, his pet basset hounds and his San Diego Chargers and Padres.

With Ginger, they were regular parishioners of Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Idyllwild where Chris was a lecturer.

He will be missed and forever remembered by his loving wife; daughter CJ and son Richard; grandchildren Kaylen, Tayla, Zack, Maggie and Jazlyn; as well as many dear (and also deer) friends on the mountain.

Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Charles Miller conducting. Interment with full military honors is at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego.
