A power outage at 7:32 a.m. Christmas Eve, Saturday, that occurred when trees hit power lines, affected 631 customers in Idyllwild, according to Southern California Edison.
Power was restored shortly after 6 p.m.

A magnitude 3.6 earthquake about 1 1/4 miles east-southeast of Loma Linda was felt by some on the Hill Monday at about 10:07 p.m. It was followed by a 2.8 magnitude tremor about 7.5 miles north of Banning a minute later, according to the U.S. Geological Survey CalTech website.
