The 44-year-old male who lost his life in a traffic collision on Highway 74 in July has been identified as Keith Marlin of Anza.
At about 9:20 p.m. Friday, July 20, a sedan traveled off of the roadway, causing fatal injuries to the driver, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Marlin was driving a 1998 Mercedes Benz E320 westbound on Highway 74, west of Palowet Drive. For reasons still under investigation, the Mercedes traveled off of the roadway and overturned.
The driver of the vehicle was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected during the collision. There were no passengers in the Mercedes.
