State Sen. Jeff Stone will hold two Holiday Open Houses at his district offices. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, an Open House and Sock Drive will be held at his district office in Indio.
From 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, he will have an Open House at his Murrieta office.
The Indio Office is located at 45-125 Smurr Street, Suite B, and the Murrieta office is at located at 25186 Hancock Avenue.
Those attending the Indio event are encouraged to bring new socks to be donated to the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, and Martha’s Village and Kitchen.
Those attending are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the United States Marine Corps Reserve “Toys For Tots” campaign.
But the senator stressed that donations are not required to attend either event.
Light refreshments and drinks will be served at both Open House occasions.
No appointment is necessary to meet with the senator and his staff during the holiday Open Houses.
If you are unable to attend, sock donations or toys for tots also are being accepted at the senator’s offices from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
