On Nov. 20 at 1:55 p.m., Donald Vann Via, 44 of San Jacinto, was driving his white 2019 Ford F-550 south on Rockdale Drive just north of Jameson Drive at 10 mph when he was unable to traverse a low hanging telephone line. The crane of his truck became entangled in the line which caused him to lose control and collide with a tree off the left-hand side of the roadway. Via was uninjured and his vehicle was towed by Clark’s Towing.
On Nov. 23 at 6 p.m., Giovanni Mencini, 40 of Joshua Tree, was driving his silver 2019 Mazda CX-5 east on Poppet Flats Road at 40 mph when he failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Poppet Flats Road and Highway 243. He traveled across the highway, striking the asphalt curve on the east side of the roadway edge. Mencini was uninjured and his car was towed by Idyllwild Garage.
On Nov. 26 at 4 a.m., Issac Joseph Stanford, 18 of Mountain Center, was driving his blue 2007 Toyota Corolla west on Highway 74 east of Keen Camp Road at 40 mph. For unknown reasons, he made an unsafe curve, traveled off the roadway and lost control on the dirt shoulder causing him to overturn. The vehicle landed on its wheels on the dirt shoulder. Stanford was uninjured and his vehicle was towed by Idyllwild Garage.
On Nov. 26 at 8:11 a.m., Daniel Christopher Delguidice, 26 of Bermuda Dunes, was riding his green Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle north on Highway 243 at 20 mph while Michael Allan Greninger, 59 of Menifee, was driving his blue 2005 Hyundai Tucson southbound at 30 mph just south of Highway 74. For unknown reasons, Delguidice crossed the double-yellow line traveling into the southbound lane striking Greninger’s vehicle head on. Delguidice was ejected and landed on the westbound shoulder. Delguidice was injured with suspected fractures to his hands but was not transported by ambulance. Greninger was uninjured and his car was towed by Idyllwild Garage. Delguidice’s motorcycle was not towed.
