Dear editor:
I think we need to express our appreciation and gratitude to Christina and Kelsi at our local post office.
They were virtually abandoned on the job during a pandemic and at the U.S. Postal Service’s busiest time of year. Yet, they stepped up to the situation and heroically maintained the operations under impossible circumstances.
Yes, there were long waits to pick up and send packages, and some people may have felt “inconvenienced,” but we should consider how inconvenient it must have been for these two.
They stepped up to the task without question and provided service as they have always done, with patience and professionalism.
These two remarkable women deserve our love and respect. Their dedication to the postal service and to this town ought to be recognized and substantially rewarded.
