Flats Fire update

As of Monday morning, June 21, the Flats Fire in the Santa Rosa mountains is 100% contained.
The fire that began at about 11:15 a.m. Sunday, June 20, in at the Pinyon transfer station, destroyed two dwellings, damaged three other dwellings and three outbuildings, and burned 341 acres.
Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The Pine Cove Water District (PCWD) held a board meeting June 10.
