Idyllwild Garden Club

The Idyllwild Garden Club will offer the Mountain Garden Tour Saturday, May 21.

It will include five unique and lovely home gardens throughout Idyllwild, plus the club’s garden at the Idyllwild Area Historical Society and Museum.

The price per person has been kept at $15, (under age 12 is free). Tickets will be on sale the day of the event at Harmony tree monument, near the Idyllwild Inn on Village Center Drive, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the selfguided tours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Venues vary, showing what part-time residents can accomplish — different ways to use the natural terrain; how to use and combine native plants, incorporate vegetable gardens; and how to create properties that entice one to spend more time with nature outdoors. Some venues also will have musicians.
