‘Everyone Welcome’ theme of Art Alliance Annual Here and Now Show
The Art Alliance of Idyllwild will be holding their annual Here and Now
art show at the Art Dept and Mountain Pottery on Saturday, August 17
from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This year’s theme is “Everyone Welcome.” Artists have submitted works in
2 and 3 dimensions. Prizes will be awarded for various categories: 2D,
3D, photography, and wearable art. There will be first, second and third
place ribbons, honorable mentions, best of show, and “People’s Choice”
awards. Art works will be offered for sale for the duration of the show,
with 100% of the sale price going to the artists.
There will be a demonstration by master potter Art Tobias, at 1 p.m.,
live music from In the Pocket from 2-5 p.m., and refreshments for sale
including beer and wine.
