Veterans from the Boots to Books program at Pasadena City College work on the construction of an outdoor cattery at ARF Saturday morning, Sept. 15. The Mountain Communities Fire Safe Council has received Federal Emergency Management Agency authority to begin its cedar shake shingle roof replacement project, according to Executive Director Edwina Scott.
