


Idyllwild celebrates autumnal equinox

The sounds of drums beating began the celebration of the autumnal equinox for more than 70 men, women and children at Idyllwild’s Spirit Mountain Retreat on Sunday, Sept. 18. Drummer Mark Berres, along with popular community singing group Local Color provided music, as residents and visitors reflected on the meaning of this special time of the year.
