Creature Corner: June 25, 2020

Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF cats discussed the new litter of kittens.

Zeus: Hey everyone! This is too good!

Bear: Why are you laughing?

Lulu:  I didn’t see anything funny.

Whiskers: He finds the kittens’ names pretty entertaining.

Zeus: Oh, you guys gotta hear this. There is Snow White, and of course, her seven siblings.

Whiskers: Yep. There are Doc, Sleepy, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Bashful and Sneezy.

Lulu: Do the kittens really match their names?

Whiskers: Well, only Sleepy does. When that one is asleep you can make all the noise you want and it doesn’t wake easily.

Sadie: I think they were named after the story because of the number of babies in the litter.

Pepper: Regardless of their names, they are so darned cute.

Zeus: And ARF is taking applications and deposits for adoptions.

Pepper: What a wonderful way to start the summer, by welcoming a beautiful new life into the family.

Zeus: And now humans may meet these kittens on the weekends when ARF is open.

Pepper: They may meet all of us adults, too!

Lulu: And really, anyone feeling a bit blue about current situations will feel much better after playing with those sweet kittens.

Bear: What a wonderful cure!

Be sure to keep up with the animal antics of “Days of Our Nine Lives” each week.
