    Quake shakes Idyllwild

    A magnitude 3.9 earthquake occurred about 12:45 a.m. this morning (Oct. 28). The epicenter was located about 6 miles) southeast of Valle Vista and 7 miles west southwest from Idyllwild.     CCC worker airlifted from Marian Mountain Trail

    According to Mark Barr, Battalion Chief with CalFire, a 20-year-old female working with a CCC crew had back spasms and was airlifted to the Keenwild Helipad from Marian Mountain Trail on Thursday morning. Idyllwild Fire, CalFire Station 23, RSO, Battalion 2 hand crew from CalFire and USFS all responded to the incident.
