Tramway closing for annual maintenance
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will close for its annual maintenance period Monday, Sept. 8. The reopening is tentatively scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20. Helicopter makes rescue Sunday morning
Sunday morning, Aug. 31, an injured hiker was rescued near Lunch Rock on Tahquitz Rock. The adult female injured her hip in a fall.
