    By April 17, 2013May 23, 2013 Reading Time: 1 minute

On the way to the dump — or transfer station — local resident Pat Smith saw a truck parked on the side of the road not far from the entrance of the transfer station on Saunders Meadow Road. It didn’t take long for her to catch up with our 2-year-old, Benika, and become the “alpha of the pack.” She was so smart and loved people so much that we soon realized she belonged at “The Spruce Moose.”
