Fred L. Fox, 89, of Idyllwild and Hemet, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2002, at Christian Heritage Gardens in Hemet.

Mr. Fox was born May 13, 1913, in Carbondale, Ill.

He made Idyllwild his home for 30 years.

Prior to his retirement, he was a teacher and chemist and had been a member of the Rotary Club.

His wife, Nedra F. Fox, and a daughter preceded him in death.

Inurnment, handled by McWane Family Funeral Home, was private.

Mr. Fox is survived by two sons, Fred B. Fox of Hemet and Idyllwild and Brian R. Fox of Carson City, Nev.; a sister, Cecil Luprino of Hemet; and a niece, Darlene Eisensclent of Hemet.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
