FAME comes to Idyllwild in December — no, not the movie, but a new business of desert resident and musician Frank Orlando. FAME, acronym for Fine Arts, Music and Education, will be housed in Oakwood Village in the old Sadie’s Clinic site. Orlando, a professional private music teacher and musician, will teach piano, bass, guitar drums and vocals. He has taught guitar at Idyllwild Arts (IA) and in various desert charter schools. His wife currently teaches at IA.
Sadie’s Clinic and Animal Rescue Friends of Idyllwild (ARF) are moving to the previous Idyllwild Technologies business site on Highway 243 near Marion View Drive.
Currently operating is a new food delivery business, Simply Fetching. Owned and operated by Mim Andrews, Simply Fetching will deliver meals from local restaurants to homes in Idyllwild and Fern Valley from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Tuesday. Call (951) 663-0463 for delivery.
