





Town Hall adult softball begins

Jeremy Teeguarden reported on Town Hall Adult Coed Softball standings for the week of Aug. 1. On Wednesday, softball got the OK from the Hemet Unified School District and Riverside County to continue the season. The first game pitted the Creekstone Inn against the Idyllwild Tea Cubs. On Thursday the Idyllwild Heating and Cooling Bobcats took on the La Casita Ravens. Mason Dunn played great for the Bobcats as he went after the ball all game and had some awesome kicks. Travis Rocha had one of his best games for the Ravens as he drove the ball down the field the whole game. Also on Thursday the American Legion Hurricanes took on the Café Aroma Galaxy. The Hurricanes were aggressive all game and scored a bunch of goals including nice ones by Liliana Sorensen and Revin Muir. Julia Wangler played great for the Galaxy going after the ball and getting some nice kicks.
On Saturday Oct. 15, two Minor League games were played. The first game was between the Idyllwild Heating and Cooling Bobcats and the American Legion Hurricanes. The game was fast-paced as both teams went up and down the field. Colby Sonnier scored two nice goals for the Bobcats as did Rene Montoya for the Hurricanes.
The second game pitted the Café Aroma Galaxy and the La Casita Ravens. The Galaxy played tough defense as Julia Wangler fought off the Ravens’ attack over and over. The Ravens’ Elie Manchester played a great game while hustling around the field.
