The Friends of the Idyllwild Library invite you to the new library in Strawberry Plaza for a production of “A Christmas Carol.”

Duffy Hudson, well-known Broadway and film actor and frequent library guest, returns to present this wonderful Christmas favorite. Without the aid of props or costumes, he will bring the familiar Christmas story to life in all its magic.

This 75-minute show is ideal for adults and teenagers. Hudson has entertained library patrons in the past with his portrayals of Edgar Allan Poe, Dr. Seuss and Albert Einstein. Most recently, in September, he did a reading of John Steinbeck’s classic, “Of Mice and Men.”

This free Friends of the Library quarterly program will be good entertainment, with complimentary wine and cheese served preceding the program. Please join us at 5. p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5 for refreshments and at 5:30 p.m., for the program at the new Idyllwild Library.
