Court records recently confirm sentencing details for Alfredo Tartaglia, 26, of Idyllwild. According to the record of
proceedings held on Thursday, Jan. 10, Tartaglia withdrew his not guilty plea for assault of a person by force and entered a plea of guilty to a violent felony.
The court denied probation and imposed a medium sentence of three years with credit for time served of 20 days plus
three for a total of 23, leaving a balance of sentence of 1072 days or 2.9 years.
The court record notes that Tartaglia requested his state prison sentence be served in fire camp.
Details in our Jan. 17 report came from John Hall, senior public information specialist for the Riverside County District Attorney’s office, not from the court record, which has subsequently been made available.
