The Amgen bike road race will close Highway 74 on Monday, May 13, for two hours in both directions as part of a rolling closure. The race begins in Murrieta at 10:30 a.m. and comes up 74 from Hemet, through Mountain Center to Garner Valley and the desert below. Commuters in either direction should be advised to expect delays or seek alternate routes.
