Monday night, a single vehicle traffic collision occurred on Highway 74 east of the Strawberry Creek Bridge near Mile Marker 55. Bernabe Torres-Chinos, 31, of Hemet was traveling west, lost control of his blue Chevrolet truck and hit the side of the mountain. Chinos was uninjured and was not transported to the hospital.
