Four people have submitted applications to replace Bill Sanborn, Area 1 (Idyllwild) trustee, on the Hemet Unified School District Governing Board.
The interviews to fill the position will be held at an open and public meeting of the Governing Board at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at the Professional Development Service Center Room 1791 W. Acacia Ave., Hemet.
Action will be taken at that meeting to make the appointment.
The eligible candidates who filed their applications by the established deadline are John W. Graham, Robert S. Righetti, Victor J. Scavarda and Charles A. Schelly.
Sanborn announced his resignation, effective July 1, earlier this month.
The board anticipates the successful candidate will be provisionally appointed, and will be sworn in on or before the scheduled board meeting for July 16.
