Idyllwild resident Robert Ferguson, author of “The Knights Templar and Scotland,” will give a talk from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Idyllwild Library.
He will describe how the Knights Templar became not only the world’s most feared warriors but also the first international bankers, the first multinational conglomerate and the only Mediterranean shipper that could guarantee delivery free of pirate attacks.
