The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will reopen on Saturday, August 31, 2013. The first tram up will be at 8 a.m., last tram up at 8 p.m. and last tram down at 9:45 p.m. Trams leave at least every 30 minutes on the hour and half-hour.
The Tram was closed during and after the Mountain Fire that began July 15 and is expected to continue burning in the wilderness into the fall. The Pines Cafe is open at the top. However, trails at the top of the Tram are closed.
