Lake Hemet Water District changes meeting date

Lake Hemet Municipal Water District has changed its regularly schedule Board of Directors meeting to 3 p.m., Monday, Oct. 14 from the original date of Thursday, Oct. 17.
The meeting will still be in the LHMWD board room at 26385 Fairview Ave, Hemet

The victim of a fatal solo motorcycle collision on Tuesday night, Nov. 4, has been identified as David Reed. The 42-year-old Hemet man collided with a tree and then a concrete wall on Highway 243 just south of Riverside County Playground Road at about 5:20 p.m. He died at 6:31 p.m. in an Idyllwild Fire ambulance.
