The Idyllwild Fire Protection District is soliciting community members to join its Finance Committee. Fire Chief Patrick Reitz says interested citizens will be considered at the fire commission’s Jan. 14 meeting.
An application and the resolution establishing the committee’s function and compostion can be found at the district’s website, http://idyllwildfire.com.
The application asks for name, contact information, years of residence, the reason for wanting to serve and any experience or training.
Reitz said completed applications should be returned to the station by Friday, Jan. 10, 2014.
“The board will decide if additional time and/or more apps are needed at the meeting,” he added.
