As of 6:11 p.m., Pine Cove and Cedar Glen area residents still reported outages. Edison is investigating the cause of the power outages, as well as re-evaluating the restoration ETA. About 1,629 customers are impacted at this time.
At 5:25 p.m., some people in Idyllwild (particularly Pine Crest Avenue, Cedar Glen, top of Franklin Dr.) and Pine Cove on Facebook are still reporting power outages.
Electricity returned to some parts of Idyllwild and Garner Valley about 4:45 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. Cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
A power outage at about 4:25 p.m. covering the Idyllwild to Garner Valley area is expected to end around 6 p.m., a Southern California Edison spokesperson reported. About 18,000 customers in the area are affected. The weather-related outages extend all across Southern California.
