The Town Crier has recently learned that an Idyllwild teenager was injured on November 1, 2013, at the bounce house that was part of the annual Haunted House exhibit.

Dylan Patton, 15, sustained serious injuries to his jaws, teeth and sinuses when his knee collided with his mouth while attempting to flip in an inflatable structure available at times to kids of various ages.

Dylan was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center by his mother, Kelly Hopper, where he was initially treated. Further examination and evaluation is scheduled, and a fund has been started to raise money for Dylan’s medical and dental bills: www.gofundme.com/A-smile-for-Dylan.
