The California Department of Transportation and Ames Construction Company are closing the north and southbound lanes of Interstate 215 between Iowa Avenue and Barton Road between 11:30 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. the following day on the Fridays and Saturdays of April 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26.

The same will be closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following day on the Wednesdays and Thursdays of April 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 and 24.

Motorists are advised to use alternate freeway routes (see map).

The closures are to allow the contractors to safely move four Burlington Northern Sante Fe Company railroad bridge spans through April.
