According to California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Murawski, at about 5:40 p.m. Monday, May 19, Rob Rutherford, 56 of Idyllwild, was traveling south on Highway 243 when he lost control of his 2007 Blue Honda Accord near mile marker 15, about 1.5 miles north of Lake Fulmor.
