Brendan Steele finished up this PGA Tour season at the Deutche Bank Championship, the second of the four FedExCup post-season playoff tournaments. His general stats were a bit off his usual, especially strokes gained tee to green, which gave strokes back to the field.

He posted a 1-under-par 74-71-69-69 — 283, which tied for 50th place and earned a bit over $19,000 for the week.

The native Idyllwilder’s successful 2014 season will be reviewed in next week’s Town Crier, with a run down on his season stats.

Steele will tee off the 2015 season, his fifth season on the PGA Tour, next month in October 2014 owing to recent changes in the PGA Tour schedule.
