The Idyllwild Fire Protection District invites the public to an open house reception to honor the retirement of Engineer-Paramedic Mike Yount.
The reception is from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Idyllwild Fire Station, 54160 Maranatha Dr.
Yount has served 23 years with IFPD, and a total of 30 years in emergency services.
