Brendan Steele had rough going at the PGA Championship last week in Charlotte, North Carolina. He managed only a 74-76 — 150, missing the Friday-night cut by 3 strokes. Town Hall Sports Coordinator Jeremy Teeguarden reported on Town Hall Adult volleyball for the week of Feb. 13. On Monday night Feb. 13, the Idyllwild Garage took on Silver Pines Lodge. The Hemet High School Cross Country running team competed in the Mt. Carmel invitational last weekend. As the race began, three Idyllwild boys — (from the left) Jayden Emerson, Tanner Torrez and Chad Schelly — started together. Running against 285 other freshman from throughout Southern California and Arizona, Torrez finished 10th, Emerson was 11th and Schelly was 91st.
