The Idyllwild Middle School cross country team competed in its first meet Oct. 6, at Vail Lake Middle School in Temecula. The team has been practicing since the beginning of the school year and everyone had a terrific first race of the season. Football players, band members and cheerleaders from Tahquitz High School participated in this year’s Super Kids Bowl. Started by Idyllwild School Principlal Matt Kraemer (on right side of photo behind Titan mascot, with fist raised), the event gives every severely disabled student from the Hemet Unified School District a chance to score a touchdown and become the star of the game.
