This is the best Thanksgiving ever. Sally, our pittie that has been in foster care for almost four years to the date, has found her soul mate. The connection could only mean one thing for Sally. She waited for this and finally is home forever.

Poppy

The last kitten dropped off on the front porch is Poppy, and he is still available. He is a young male and loves to play. His brother, sisters and mama have gone to their forever home. Meow, what about me? Poppy is a bit shier than his siblings, but still is good with other cats and humans.

Ernie and Wilson
Ernie and Wilson

The Hemingway brothers are the new boys on the block. Ernie and Wilson are polydactyls. However, Ernie is a poly on all four paws. Very rare. They are 6-month-old kittens who still need some socialization to respond to the human touch. Ernie is friendliest of the two.

We have several adult cats in our cattery, also. And a new kitten— 6-month-old Dusty, a gray, medium-haired male. He loves to play with the dogs toys, although he will arch his back if he sees a dog. He is good with other cats and absolutely loves humans. Come in and meet Dusty.

Archie
Archie

Archie was the perfect gentleman during Halloween, amidst many human legs and other canines. He has come a long way in his training. He will still every once in a while give a little warning bark, but with proper commands, he understands that all is OK. Archie is wishing upon that star in the sky for a home by Christmas. Come give this boy a chance. He is great with other dogs and cats, and loves rides in the car. Walks are always fun, as are treats.

ARF has many cats and dogs available for adoption or fostering. Go to www.arfidyllwild.weebly.com and click on Petfinder. There is also a link for Facebook.

All pets are spayed, neutered and current on shots. ARF is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.

This week, Creature Corner is sponsored by Brent Skeane. To sponsor the column, call Lisa Streeter at the Town Crier, 951-659-2145.
