Above, this crash was reported around 11:17 a.m. Monday involving a pick-up truck with a camper shell driven by Leif Kvammen (right) of Pine Cove. Kvammen was not injured and no other vehicles or persons were involved in the collision. Kvammen, traveling westbound on Highway 74 near the Strawberry Creek Bridge, said he heard a “pop and clash” at the same time coming from his right front wheel, immediately dragging the vehicle off the pavement into the side embankment and rolling it over. He wasn’t sure but thought he possibly had a tire blow out. The crash blocked traffic to one lane but was cleared before 12:30 p.m. Photo by Jack Clark
