Nancy Layton, chair of the Idyllwild Fire Protection District Finance Committee, in consultation with fire Chief Patrick Reitz canceled the committee’s Feb. 17 meeting. The next scheduled committee meeting is Tuesday, March 17.

“… we do not have pressing business or substantial regular business of the Finance Committee to attend to next week,” Layton said in the email announcing the meeting’s cancellation.

At the next meeting, Layton indicated that the committee will address the issue of establishing reserve accounts for the district.

In addition, she told members that the application for the vacant alternate committee member, following Chris Davis’ resignation, may be available on the district’s website this week.
