Readers Write: Mountain lion …

I live in Fern Valley. Monday night, April 20, a mountain lion, based on size and shape of track, came through my property.

He left behind three deer legs that I buried the next morning. I have tried to spread the word to everyone in the neighborhood who has a pet of any size.

When I took the dog out during the night, he definitely told me via body language there was a threat out there. Then he led me to the first leg before I decided it was definitely time to retreat.

I have spread the word to everyone I know who has a pet in this area but certainly don’t have the contacts the Town Crier does.

I know; they were here first and we just have to live together, but cautiously.
