Town Hall is open with all programs running, according to Riverside County Regional Park and Open Space Recreation Chief Kyla Brown.
On Monday, Jan. 5, the parking lot was crowded with cars and the main floor of Town Hall was filled with a Jazzercise class.
Town Hall had been closed for county recreation activities in November after an inspection revealed the presence of asbestos. The county undertook repairs in mid-December with the goal of finishing them on Wednesday, Dec. 30, so that Town Hall could reopen just after the New Year’s holiday.
Brown noted that all programs would relocate to Town Hall once it reopened. During the closure, recreation managers relocated all programs to the county-managed Nature Center on Highway 243.
